The SUMMER OF LOVE has put us aging counterculturists back on the map! It’s such fun, but particularly as an antidote to the Summer of Trumpetry we’ve been subjected to, thinking more deeply about the strengths and values of the 60s Counterculture from the vantage of 50 years, one can see what’s really been lost. For more on that thought, look at the Blog (which I neglected early on) where I have just posted a piece I wrote for a local paper about what was accomplished by my generation.

My old friend Ben Van Meter who made the film about my playground called “The Saga of Macramé Park” is just now putting together images collected from his cameras into a visual history of the Summer of Love. He’s doing a Kickstarter to fund it. It’s all worth looking at and helping to make happen!
